Dr. George Koulianos is our founder and our medical director. He is known for his skill and accomplishments as a physician and is loved for his easygoing bedside manner. He strives to make every patient feel as calm, relaxed and “at home” as possible.

Dr. Koulianos believes that above and beyond a scientific obligation to do our best for our patients, we have a moral obligation to strive for a higher standard. From the science we practice, to our surgical skills, to the way we run our office, to way we communicate and the way we treat people when they come in, we strive for excellence.

He completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Tulane Medical School and the University of South Alabama. He did his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech Regional Academic Center in Amarillo. He graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Prior to founding The Center in 1993, he served as assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Alabama. He is also board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

His professional accomplishments include winning the ACOG/CIBA (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) Fellowship for Endocrinology of the Postreproductive Woman, authoring several book chapters and articles with original research for peer review and presenting original research at numerous national and international meetings. Dr. Koulianos speaks nationally on fertility issues. Professional memberships include the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, State and County medical societies.

Dr. Koulianos leads The Center’s consistent delivery of the best science, medicine and care through its focus on human compassion, determination to help patients succeed, helping patients feel in control of their treatment and working as an extension of OBGYNs.
